The Wig Man

The Wig Man

I just love New York City. The energy, the architecture, the beautiful and not so beautiful people whom I find much more interesting, the history, the food, the constant hustle & bustle of people and cars, the subway and yes the light and the streets itself. If you think there’s always something going on in San Francisco then New York is a whole new ballgame. It’s a city that’s made to be photographed particularly with black and white film. As Woody Allen says in his opening monologue of Manhattan…”this is still a town that existed in black & white pulsating to the great tunes of Gershwin” He goes on to say that New York is his town and that it will always be. Woody Allen’s opening monologue explains it all for a wannabe street photographer like me….brilliantly shot movie from one of the greatest directors ever to live. Love him or hate him you have to admire the man. I do as Manhattan is one of my favorites of all time.
