Noble cause. They dont seem too radical or passionate though standing there in suits. Make me wonder what is really going on.
ROB January 21st, 2007 at 6:33 pmThe photo was taken on stage before the \”rally\”. I really don\’t know who these gentleman were but most were wearing medals of some kind around their necks. Don\’t know what for nor did I ask but they did happily pose for photographers in this shot.
Life is noble indeed as all life should be defended. The definition of when life begins is another question. But how can a man possibly know what a woman feels when making difficult choices concerning her own body? I know I will never fully understand. The choice should remain hers and only hers. I believe that all women should have a right to choose.

Rowena Tilton January 28th, 2007 at 4:59 pmJohn, I agree with you that a woman has the right to choose. However, what happened to the unborn child’s rights…is that just something you want to look past? Yes the woman has the right to choose…she should have chosen to use a contraceptive or some kind of protection so she would not have been in this situation. Just my thought.
Rowena Tilton January 28th, 2007 at 5:03 pmI wholeheartedly agree that women & men should use contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancies. To have an unwanted pregnancy today is ignorance. The key is education and unfortunately the focus of the current administration and most religious groups is “abstinence only” instead of educating young people what they can do to not only prevent pregnancies but also sexually transmitted diseases. Just take a look at the Catholic church in that they don’t approve of the use of a condom because in their narrow thinking it would promote promiscuity. I just don’t believe that the abstinence only program will have any bearing on reducing the number of abortions in this country and throughout the world.
On the issue of the unborn fetus’ rights the question is when is it a child? Is a stem cell a child? An embryo and then a fetus a child? I do have some concerns about late term abortions except for medical purposes. I don’t have the answer to this but I do I realize everything isn’t black & white and to put limitations & laws against something doesn’t always work in the real world. There are too many variables and each situation is different which is why I think women should have the right to choose what they think is best for their own body.
