Reflections
I’ve been contemplating the direction of this blog and my photography. I don’t hit upon a consistent “theme” in terms of what I post and I’m wondering if it’s a detriment. Should I stick with a theme or display my photographs as I see things on a daily basis which is what I’ve been doing?
sorry i missed you tuesday. i have wondered the same as you wrote above about my own photoblog. i often wonder if i should stick to one theme. in the end i decided that my photoblog is not a portfolio, but an exercise in creativity. in time, themes develop and as long as i share the images i love, it’s all good. 🙂

pinky February 1st, 2006 at 11:01 pmThanks for the input. One thing about sticking to a theme is that I’ll post less photographs which is what I wouldn’t want. But then again, is it quality over quantity as I know some of the photos I have posted, when looking back, aren’t very good at all in my eyes. One great thing about having this photoblog is that it makes me go out and shoot and is somewhat a record of my life but in images. Bottom line, that’s what this is all about and as Valerie said, it’s an excercise. Thanks and I think I’ll stick to what I’ve been doing for now.
