Went to my very first quinceanera and had a wonderful experience. The birthday girl was the daughter of Betty’s cousin who lives in Oakley. It was a bit odd for me as I was the only “Asian” guy there, especially when I broke out my camera. I wasn’t my usual self of being aggressive with my shooting as 1) it’s Betty’s family so I had to show respect & restraint 2) I didn’t want to intrude with the paid photographer. This was the real deal and boy was it fun to just be apart of.
