Chinatown, 2009

Sorry for the lack of photos lately as I ventured to the East Coast for some fun. Didn’t do a whole ton of photos while I was there but I did manage to take a few. Additionally my beloved XA4 died while I was there which put a damper on my “stealth” type photography. I hope to fix it myself or get it repaired as I’m very sad about it.
Haven’t shown a Chinatown photo in awhile so here ya go. Olympus XA4 at 1600 iso.
I like the angle on this shot.
James June 16th, 2009 at 3:32 amSorry to hear about your XA4. I hope you have luck getting it repaired. You’ve taken some excellent pictures with that camera.
Great perspective. You’ve captured the mood/feelings of being squished I so often feel when in SF Chinatown.
Mindy | f-stopMarin June 16th, 2009 at 7:31 amI love the close crop of this image, it really does ceate the feeling of the hustle and bustle of the street market.
An unusual angle too. 🙂

Christopher Layne June 16th, 2009 at 1:31 pmThanks everyone! I tried fixing the XA4 myself but it seems the shutter is dead. I’ll keep trying but I did open it up with no luck so far :(.
John Agoncillo June 16th, 2009 at 9:33 pmStill – such an excellent photo John. I think this would be a great print.
