It’s very difficult to take photographs at Portsmouth Square in Chinatown. You get looks of disdain when you break out a camera and when the people who plays cards don’t know you. I’ve tried on several occasions only to be told not to photograph, which I completely respect. This day they let me. I don’t know why but they did and I was very careful not to exceed my boundaries.
