From the Brooklyn Art Museum Looking Back From Ground Zero exhibit. When we went to NYC last year we went to Ground Zero. This year we had no desire to as I recall last year it felt very strange to see people acting as if the area was a tourist spot. Well it is but it doesn’t mean that tourists should pose to take snapshots with Ground Zero in the background. Maybe it’s just me but it bothered the heck out of me and feel that the area should be treated with respect.

Anyway, if you’re in NYC, you must must go to the Brooklyn Art Museum. One to see the Annie Leibovitz show but the other is to see Ron Mueck’s spectacular sculptures. Utterly amazing and stole the show for me. Of course there’s also photographs of Ground Zero, one which is shown here.
